Zeba Rayee is pursuing PhD from Centre for European Studies, School of International Studies, JNU. She holds masters degree from University of Delhi and MPhil from JNU. She writes commentaries on international affairs and political affairs for journals and blogs.


Shantesh Kumar Singh, PhD is an Associate Professor at Department of Political Science, Central University of Haryana, India. He is also an Adjunct Fellow and Associate Editor of International Association for Counter-terrorism and Security Professionals-South East Asia, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (IACSP-SEA). Recently, he completed his post-doctorate from United Nations University-International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.


Pooja Birwatkar is an Assistant Professor in Somaiya Vidyavihar University, Mumbai. Previously,  she was a visiting fellow at Homi Bhabha Centre for Science EducationHer areas of interest include: science education, diversity in education, multi-culturalism, socio-scientific  issues and alternative education.


Vibhuti Patel is a distinguished academician, social thinker and researcher. She is a former professor of School of Development Studies, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. She is a post-doctoral fellow of London School of Economics and has authored many books, monographs, research papers, commentaries and reviews. Some of her works are included for policy-making as well.


Sanjaya Mishra is one of the leading scholars in open, distance and online learning. He is an Education Specialist at Commonwealth of Learning (COL) in Canada.  He has served Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia (CEMCA), UNESCO, Paris and IGNOU’s Regional Centres in prominent positions. He is promoting the use of educational multimedia, eLearning, open educational resources (OER) and open access to scientific information around the world.


Rosalind Edwards is Professor of Sociology at the University of Southampton. She has researched (both funded and unfunded) and published widely on families and on research methods. This research on unfunded research reported here was unfunded. Her article, ‘Why do academics do unfunded research? Gopakumar V. is University Librarian of Goa University, India. He has served in different academic institutions and has rich experience of academic librarianship. He was instrumental in initiating UG and PG courses in library and information science at Goa University.
